A little planning.
A lot to look forward to.

01 / MORE THAN THE GAME

A new team.
A bigger possibility.

A chance to represent Moorpark. A place to find your people. A season to discover what you can do.

The Gold All Stars bring together Moorpark’s Girls U12 players from the core season for a longer tournament journey, with room to learn, work hard, and build something we’re proud of.

01

Grow your game.

New challenges, focused practice, and the confidence that comes from putting in the work.

02

Find your team.

New teammates, shared experiences, and a community cheering for every player.

03

Bring your all.

Be ready to learn, support each other, and represent Moorpark with pride.

02 / THE FAMILY GAME PLAN

Big on soccer.
Clear on commitment.

Great seasons start with everyone on the same page. Here’s what to consider together.

THE TIME

Six months.
One shared goal.

December 2026 through May 2027

Plan for regular practices and tournament weekends. All-Stars is expected to take priority over other sporting activities, so talk through any conflicts before accepting.

Our practice plan

Practices will likely begin during Thanksgiving week. We’re aiming for two practices a week, usually about 90 minutes (1-2 hours). We’ll coordinate the first session and regular days and times with the team.

Lighted fields are available Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday, 4-7 p.m., at Arroyo Vista. Our available practice areas are City Athletic Fields #4 and #5, highlighted on the map below. This is the available window, not three scheduled practices.

We’ll coordinate the Thanksgiving kickoff around family plans. After that, we plan to take holiday weeks off and may arrange flexible conditioning or camp days on selected days off school, with fun and player development at the center.

Practices begin after our team meeting and completed registration. Current league-team commitments come first until the Area E league championship is complete.

Who are the Gold All Stars?

The Gold All Stars are Moorpark’s Girls U12 tournament team. Our focus is on bringing this group together, developing as players, and representing Moorpark with pride.

When do practices start?

Is $80–$100 a monthly fee?

No. It is an early planning estimate averaged over 6 months, or approximately $480–$600 for December 2026 through May 2027. It is not a confirmed fee or an installment schedule.

Kit and registration are paid when registering. Tournament contributions are collected ahead of each tournament, not all up front. Final amounts and individual tournament due dates will be shared as plans are confirmed. Travel, meals, lodging, and optional extras should not be assumed to be included.

How do referee deposits work?

Referee coverage is part of some tournament costs. When our team provides referees and meets the tournament’s requirements, the applicable referee deposits are refunded to the team.

We’re recruiting team referees. Let your coach know if you can help or would like to learn what’s involved. Any refund amounts and how they are applied will be communicated when confirmed.

What if we have another sport or a schedule conflict?

Please discuss known conflicts with the coach before accepting. The program expects All-Stars to take priority over other sporting activities. If availability changes, let the coach know promptly so the team can plan together.

The program’s Tournament Director may review or replace a player when participation commitments cannot be met.

How much playing time should we expect?

The regional FAQ specifies the three-quarter playing rule for the Area All-Star Tournament. Outside tournaments may have different rules, so that expectation should not be applied to every event. Your coach will explain the rules for each tournament.

How can families help?

We’re looking for referees and volunteers for field setup, Snack Shack, field monitors, and other team or event support. Sponsor introductions are welcome too. Tell Ashton Wood or Matt O’Donnell what interests you and when you can help.

Sponsorship may help support tournament fees and team items. No sponsorship funding or fee reduction is assumed in the current estimate.

How do we accept an invitation?

Respond directly to the coach who contacted you. Share your family’s decision, questions, and known scheduling conflicts. The coach will confirm registration, the team meeting, and any response deadline.

This website is a family information guide. Viewing the page or completing the checklist does not register a player or accept a place.
